The Dive Explorer Foundation is an afiliate from International Diving Research & Exploration Organization (www.idreo.org), designed to allow non divers start their diving career.
The Dive Explorer Foundation dive program is designed by very experience Instructors and Dive Explorers members of the International Diving Research & Exploration Organization. The goal was to boost Exploration by producing high level and safe divers from the start of their diving career, with the latest diving techniques.
DEF training program is designed to train capable independent divers from individuals which are NON divers or beginner divers seeking to improve their level and be involved in all around underwater exploration worldwide.
DEF Scuba Explorer course committment may be at a very high level for some individuals, DEF Instructor team have also design progression steps from a single block two a couple shorter sessions (REC 1 & 2) and even several weekend sessions of specializations :

What DEF Do?
Exploration is going beyond the known areas of a diving location, while Research tasks include sampling, surveying, photo & video documentation and data collection. Diving activities that under standardization will create uniform platforms for international teams reference & studies.

As IDREO been brought to realize that the Explorer seminar candidates may need to get basic training. Since 2013 IDREO Explorer Training is available to cover basic Trimix, Cave and Rebreather diver training.
